Kharchi Puja

Maharaja Krishna Manikya started this festival in 1760 AD. It is observed during July at the famous Fourteen Goddess Temple in Agartala. Among the deities, Mahadev, Durga, and Narayan are worshiped. The other 11 gods are worshiped only during the festival.
