Poush Sankranti Fair or Tirthamukh Mela

Poush Sankranti Fair, or TirthamukhMela, is a famous festival in Tripura. It is celebrated during January on the bank of Damboor Lake, where River Gomati originates. There is a Hydel Project near the Damboorlake. Many tourists and devotees visit this place for religious purposes.
