Dumboor Lake

Dumboor Lake is situated at Gandacherra Sub Division in Tripura and feeds rivers Raima and Sarma. It is a charming water body, shaped like Dumroo or Damru (a small drum) of Lord Shiva hence getting its name. The massive lake (41 sq. km) offers luxuriant green vegetation all around and 48 islands in it. You can encounter thousands of migratory birds and unique water activities here; it has a rich reservoir of fish. NarkelKunja is a one-of-a-kind island situated in the heart of Dumboor Lake.
