Ghum Monastery

The Ghum Monastery, also known as the YeigaChoeling Monastery, is an ancient monastery of the Sakya order. It is located 8km away from the main town and offers exotic natural beauty. The statue inside the monastery is believed to be of the future Buddha. It also stores Tibetan translations of prominent Sanskrit Works like Kalidasa’sMeghdoot, Sriharsa’sNagamandala, and more.
