Yumthang Valley

Yumthang Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers, seems to be a slice of heaven on earth. The picturesque setting of the valley is settled in North Sikkim, at an elevation of 3700 m. It is situated only 25 km away from Lachung. This mesmerizing valley houses thousands of colorful flowers in the spectacular Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary. You may explore more than forty species of gorgeous rhododendrons around an area of 43 sq. km. Yumthang Valley is a must-visit place in north Sikkim in the Spring.
