Jagannath Temple

Undoubtedly Jagannath Temple is the most important place to visit in Puri. King Indradyumna built this temple in the 11th century. The principal deities are Lord Jagannath (an incarnation of Lord Vishnu), Balavadra & Subhadra. Besides the talles temple, there are countless minor shrines within the comple.
