Khaspur

Situated around 20 km from Silchar, Khaspur, the ruins of the Dimasa kingdom display the history of the region. It was a part of the Tripura Kingdom, and became independent following the fall of the Koch rulers. Later Kachari rulers took charge of this region and shifted their capital to Khaspur.
