Pandava Caves

One of the top attractions of Panchmarhi, the Pandava Caves, is popular for its legendary connections. Historical shreds of evidence claim these caves were constructed during the 1st century by Buddhist monks as a form of shelter. But, the local people believe the caves were built as shelters by the Panch Pandav of the Mahabharata. Whatever the truth, it is a must-visit place in Pachmarhi.
